Bike Temple is a University-wide program to promote bicycle use by Temple students, faculty, and staff.  The overall goal of the program is to enable more people to travel on a bike and to do so safely, to build a great bike culture at Temple that supports the University’s commitment to sustainability and reputation for innovative, green programs.

This project was an end-to-end effort.  I came in and worked with the stakeholders to create a long run vision for the site. Some of the duties included:

  • Setup a LAMP stack.
    • Memcache
    • Varnish
    • APC
    • PHP 5.2
    • MySQL 5.1

DGA Partners

DGA Partners, healthcare management professionals is a full service management consulting firm, in Philadelphia.  They had an existing contract with a technical writing firm who was had a very explicit idea of how things should look and feel.  They had wanted to implement their new site on a CMS, but had heard that CMS can be very difficult to design for.  I worked with their design/content people to implement their ideas.

  • Server setup

Associated Paving Contractors

Associated Paving Contractors has an extensive website catalog of services.  They do everything from large highway paving jobs, to small driveways, septic tank removals, and just about anything environmental.  They came to me with very little vision and had been burned before.  We came up with a value minded proposal and a reasonable timeline.  We hired a writer to help with the content development and overal things went very smoothly.

  • CMS
  • Data driven gallery
  • Custom Theme based on Logo

Dragone Construction

Dragone Construction came to me with a need for a basic website.  They wanted to show mostly photos of their work and have some basic information available to perspective clients.  I delivered this via J!1.0, JoGadgets, CSS and Illustrator.  The end product is a simple yet easy to use website, with an animated gallery.

  • J!1.0
  • Lightbox
  • Simple site, quick turn around
  • Value driven project
